Senior Analyst , Global Security Operations Center

Description
Senior level position within AT-RISK’s Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), a 24/7 department which provides the operational analysis needs for all field missions and support to AT-RISK and its clients. This occurs through the review, collection and analysis of open source information as well as various intelligence and news media gathering sites. The information gathered will be used in risk assessments, event planning, travel security (employees and client personnel) and crisis management.

Duties
Monitor various intelligence sources to provide company personnel, clients or business partners real time visibility on regional or global events/issues.

Processes threat intelligence in order to assess the risk to company/client personnel and assets.
Takes intelligence gathered and advises appropriate personnel or entities through the dissemination of concise and comprehensive written or verbal reports.
Assist the Director of Operations as needed in the oversight of global investigations, assessments and overall security operations.
Responsibilities
Maintain Case Management:

Review, analyze and upload select documents into a specialized case management database program.
Conducts case reviews to ensure intelligence gathering and analysis is being done.
Enters case updates and intelligence planning as needed
Awareness of all on-going cases and operations.
Reviews all reports generated from the GSOC for content, structure, completeness and relativity.
Logistics:

Ensures logistical requirements of teams in the field are being supported.
Maintenance and upkeep of all GSOC equipment in both offices.
Assist in oversight of GSOC vendor accounts to include database subscriptions and intelligence gathering software
Protective Intelligence:

Ensures various media outlets (all mediums) are being monitored as needed to support global operations.
Based on the latter, advises teams of critical information impacting operations worldwide through the dissemination of written reports, telephonically or other means..
Oversees and conducts research to build the profiles of persons and groups of interest as directed by senior AT-RISK management.
Extracts noteworthy information gleaned from open source presence of identified persons and groups of interests and composes weekly briefs based on said material.
Overseas GSOC investigations of individuals and groups posting content identified as hostile to AT-RISK clients.
Geopolitical Intelligence:

Monitors and composes reports on cities, countries, and regionals worldwide.
Researches, analyzes and writes regional reports for case-related activities in other countries.
Crisis Management:

Monitors automated systems, both AT-RISK’s and those of their clients, to deter and protect against fire, theft, vandalism, terrorism, and all illegal and unauthorized activity.
Initiates and coordinates emergency response upon detection of unauthorized, suspicious, or problem activity within field locations or at AT-RISK facilities.
Facilitates GSOC Functioning:

Maintains appropriate logs or records of activities and observations made during the three assigned shifts.
Ensures the proper receipt, evaluations and dissemination of information to the GSOC’s phone and radio line from employees, contractors, the public, law enforcement, and off-site facilities.
As directed, may be called upon to prepare case reports and may be called upon to testify in court.

Performs other security duties and tasks as dictated by the work environment and supervisor personnel.

Completes all other tasks assigned by the senior

Basic Qualifications
Previous experience in the field of intelligence analysis (Government, military and LE a plus)
Familiarity with monitoring overseas intelligence or media sources
Four year degree in related field of studies
Corporate security experience a plus
Experienced in open source gathering methodology
Working knowledge of global terrorism and standard security measures to mitigate them
Working knowledge of Microsoft programs
Excellent written English capabilities to include producing detailed, concise and timely work products under pressure.

Skill Set
A self-starter with minimal supervision or oversight
Capacity to work in a fast paced work environment
Ability to meet short fused deadlines
Ability to make independent and quick decisions in a high stress environment.
Ability to collate and review large volumes of information

Experience
Suitable candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree
Suitable candidate has a minimum of 5 years of experience in the intelligence or investigative arena

General Requirements
Job may require standing, sitting, moving for extended periods of time.
Exposure to extreme environmental conditions occurs occasionally.
Individual may be required to travel.
Ability to perform essential job functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.
