Job Description
Combat Rescue Officer (CRO and Pararescue (PJ) Training Instructor (Part-Time)
Client: United States Air Force 38th Rescue Squadron, Moody AFB, Georgia (Active Contract)
Specialty Areas: Emergency Medical and Technical Rescue
Mission Specific Requirements:
1. Certified Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic (NRP) by the National Registry of Emergency
Medical Technicians (NREMT) or ** state Office of Emergency Medical Services;
2. Completion of General Instructor Development course (or equivalent);
3. Certified Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Instructor by the * American Heart Association (AHA) – EMT exempt;
4. Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor by the * American Heart Association (AHA);
5. Certified Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Instructor by the * American Heart Association (AHA) – EMT exempt;
6. Certified Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP) (advanced or basic) Instructor by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP);
7. Certified Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS) Instructor by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) – EMT exempt;
8. Certified Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) Instructor by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT);
9. Certified Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Instructor by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT);
10. Tactical Paramedic-Certified (TP-C) by the Board for Critical Care Transport Paramedic Certification (BCCTPC) preferred; however not required
11. Rescue Technicians must show training in compliance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standard 1006 and Standard 1670.
12. Must be able to travel with Mobile Training Teams (MTT) when decentralized training locations are required.

Notes:
* Will accept American Safety & Health Institute Instructor certifications;
** State EMTs and Paramedics must obtain NREMT or NRP within 120 days of employment.
