Job Description:
• Interacting with top level executives to include the CEO, Corporate Officers, and the DuPont Board of Directors.
• Drive company vehicle to transport top level executives in a safe and secure manner.
• Arranging security details and logistics around high level company meetings and functions.
• Help coordinate and monitor travel security and risk mitigation plans for CEO, Senior Executives and BOD.
• Conducting sensitive investigations internally and/or coordinating with law enforcement or government regulatory agencies in their investigative efforts on our behalf.
• Independently maintaining liaison with law enforcement and government agencies, private security and others as required by job functions.
• Maintaining proficiency in executive protection, evasive and defensive driving, first aid, CPR, AED and firearms training.
• Understanding that the position requires significant flexibility to independently accommodate changing needs, priorities and responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• Have a minimum of 10 years experience in law enforcement and a minimum of 5 years investigative experience.
• Maintain proficiency and required licensing in order to carry a firearm.
• Have a valid driver’s license and demonstrated safe driving record.
• Be able to pass an extensive background check, including drug screen.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate in stressful and fast moving situations.
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with high level executives in the company, employees at all levels, as well as external partners.
• Demonstrated skills in diplomacy, discretion, tact, maintaining confidentiality and respect for people.
• Experience in and working knowledge of executive protection, white collar crime, fraud, kidnapping, extortion, and familiarity with Delaware and Federal criminal procedures preferred.
• Ability to form and maintain new contacts within law enforcement.
• Be able to meet the Eligibility Criteria for the Transportation Administration Armed Security Officer Program.
• Be in good physical condition, have a neat and professional appearance.
