As Threat Management Specialist you will work in the Security and Emergency Management Staff (SEMS), Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA). You will serve as the central point of contact for 93 United States Attorney Offices (USAO) located throughout the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, the Marianas Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U. S. Virgin Islands, regarding all Security Incidents and Threats affecting USAO Personnel. As the Threat Management Specialist you will review incoming Urgent Reports to determine an initial course of action, then revise and update accordingly. Based on the Threat you will coordinate appropriate countermeasures and process proposed estimates.
 
Responsibilities:
• Review and revise Threat Reports.
• Track existing Threats against Department personnel and offices utilizing established databases/spreadsheets.
• Assist Department personnel applying to become a Deputy US Marshall and process deputation records.
• Participate in and track inquires regarding loss, theft, criminal activity and workplace violence.
• Propose security countermeasures.
• Prepare cost analysis documentation, and compile funding documents.
• Coordinate with internal and external customers.
• Liaison with law enforcement/intelligence community.
• Conduct briefings and deliver presentations regarding Threat Management and security related issues.
• Take part in special projects and studies affecting the overall security of the Department’s facility and property.

Qualifications:
• BA/BS in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Emergency Management or a related field preferred.
• 5-7 years of law enforcement experience with MS Windows experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Security Requirements: U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance. Must be willing to submit to comprehensive background investigation.
