Cryptologic Language Analyst (Mandarin-Chinese)

Synopsis: Client seeks motivated personnel to join our team of polished professionals as Cryptologic Language Analyst (Mandarin-Chinese) – Candidate must have 4+ years of SIGINT experience and active TS/SCI with Polygraph to provide contract language analysis support to a classified government customer. Place of performance is located in Maryland.
Essential Job Functions:
• Perform classified and/or unclassified document-to-document or audio-to-document translation, interpreting, operational assistance, and analysis.
• Translate into English from the Client language, and on occasion render from English into the Client language, the speech
and/or writings of non-English speaking individuals. These translations may be provided to the requester in either verbatim, summary or transcription form, depending on the assignment.
• Translate foreign language material frequently involving technical or non-standard terms in describing ideas, objects, persons, and places relating to economics, politics and science including high technology, political affairs, military, legal matters and other investigative fields.
• Provide interpretation assistance to government personnel in interrogations, interviews and conversational exchanges.
• Linguists who demonstrate utmost linguist excellence are required to perform transcription/translation quality control.
 
Education / Experience:
• U.S. Citizen General Professional (Level 3) proficiency in the targeted language and English along with the associated cultural awareness subject matter expertise
• At least a 3/3 score in the Client language on a DLPT test
 
Required Skills:
Functional language skills to work across the Client language Demonstrate proficiency by passing translation and interpretation components through certification on full interpretation test battery administered by an acceptable institution dictated by the Customer Proficient at keyboarding, as well as with standard commercial and specialized Government software applications.
Desired Skills: Familiar with SIGINT tools
