Job Description
Schafer Corporation is seeking experienced, proactive, highly motivated, and well-organized individuals to provide operational test and evaluation (T&E) support services for security equipment in the nation’s airports in support of major Federal homeland security programs at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
Responsibilities:
Provide Operational Test Planning in support of all OSC OT&E events.
Provide technical support across a broad range of scientific and engineering fields to enable the team to verify conformance of capabilities against operational requirements.
Support the Systems Evaluation team at the DHS TSA Crystal City location assisting with the selection of test sites, test schedule, risk identification, constraints, issues, and strategy development of test execution.
Attend Integrated Product Team meetings in support of the evaluation effort.
Qualifications:
At minimum requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
Minimum five (5) years of military or private industry professional experience training canines in various capabilities including explosives detection.
