Job Summary:
Support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency’s Contingency Events and Exercises Branch as a Professional Adversarial Team Member providing realistic performances in order to assist supported military units achieve their training objectives. The professional Adversarial Team Member will support DTRA events by completing assigned duties and tasks in accordance with customer, company, and Program Manager requirements.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Maintain a positive team environment with customer, instructors, outside agencies and other contract staff.
Understand and support Client’s processes, procedures, and mission objectives.
Use appropriate role-specific harassment techniques to ensure student safety.
Responsible for safe guarding/accountability of NEK/client facilities and equipment.
Support tracking/aggressor operations in field conditions.
Administrative/logistical duties as assigned by section lead.
Interpret and portray an assigned role; invent a realistic persona for the role based on personal knowledge and experience of village life, language and culture; remain in character for the duration of the training exercises (except during meals, breaks and uninterrupted rest periods).
Dress in costume appropriate to role.
Proper use of simulation weapons with appropriate person protective equipment as determined by event
Integrate with students and perform at scripted competency levels.
Minimum Job Requirements:
US Citizenship required.
Current US Passport required.
Maintain excellent interpersonal, communication skills and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
Must have an understanding of basic military fundamentals and customs and courtesies.
Familiarization with military organization and terminology.
Be reasonably healthy and fit enough to withstand rigorous physical requirements; must be able to operate for extended periods of time in rural/urban outdoor conditions, to include extreme heat, cold, rain or snow.
Travel unaccompanied: domestically and internationally as required.
Preferred Job Requirements:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US SECRET security clearance immediately; and preferably also able to obtain and maintain a US Top Secret security clearance as required by contract.
Experience performing Role Play/Opposing Force (OPFOR) methods of instruction desired.
Prior experience working in classified setting.
A mix of ethnic and demographic backgrounds is desirable to provide diversity.
Applicants with Foreign language skills are preferred at various levels from intermediate to fluent.
Prior Special Operations Forces training highly desirable.
Knowledge of Surveillance and Counter-Surveillance techniques highly desirable.
