The Celestar Corporation has an IMMEDIATE NEED to identify a Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental and Multinational (JIIM) Instructor/SME for an upcoming proposed effort, who will be seated atJoint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Active Final Secret Level Clearance; Clearance and Investigation must appear in JPAS and be within scope (10 – Years)
SCOPE OF WORK
The purpose of this effort is to provide contract support for education and training of designated airmen approved by the Air Force.
Work will include lessons/blocks of instruction on core skills that are applicable to all Air Advisors as well as provide additional education tailored for specific requirements. The Air Advisor education and training support required will encompass Air Advisor core knowledge areas and region and culture studies. Education and training shall be student-centered, delivered within the USAF EOS standard with an emphasis on real-world scenarios and practical exercises.
You may be required to participate as member of a Mobile Training Team (MTT) and provide instruction at an off-site/alternative learning location in addition to providing instruction at the USAF Expeditionary Center (EC). This MTT travel may be OCONUS.
Courses
Air Advisor Academic Course – 2 Weeks
Air Advisor Afghanistan Security Force Assistance (SFA) Course – 1 Week
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the focal point and SME in their respective discipline; when qualified, be prepared to assist and teach lessons in other disciplines as determined by the Program Manager.
Provide technical support, planning, consultation, analysis and expert advice to establish, maintain, and improve their respective area’s instruction.
Develop, update, revise, and deliver their respective area’s curriculum and courseware within USAF EOS-established policy.
Ensure the most current student education and training materials are used and are provided to each student at the beginning of each lesson, as required.
Produce, assemble, and manage student materials as required to include paper and/or electronic (DVDs, etc.) based training materials provided by the Government.
Prepare classroom for instruction and ensure academic equipment, projectors, televisions, computer learning stations, etc., including uploading of computer based training, if applicable, are functional.
Begin each lesson on time and teach for the prescribed amount of time IAW the student schedule unless the COR authorizes a schedule deviation.
Perform instruction/demonstration and student evaluations as required by the syllabi and Plan of Instruction (POI). Maintain satisfactory or above on Government administered instructor evaluations.
Review learning objectives with students in preparation for examinations.
Follows USAF EC-established policy for make-up/remedial instruction for missed classes or failed examinations.
Attend meetings, conferences, and symposiums on topics related to their area of expertise and participate in instructor professional development.
Be prepared to teach lessons as directed by the Program Manager to balance instructor workload and to meet mission requirements.
Provide realistic partner nation actors capable of portraying civilians, government officials, religious leaders, tribal elders, interpreters, etc., as required.
Specific Responsibilities
Provide instruction and evaluations to students on interrelationships for a wide variety of organizations operating in the international environment including joint and coalition military partners, Non Governmental Organizations, Inter Governmental Organizations, International Organizations, US Embassy staffs and Country Teams.
Teach subjects such as, but not limited to International Organizations, Interagency Functions, Building Strategic Networks, Afghan Security Institutions / ANSF Familiarization, Afghan Government Structures and Legal Awareness, Organizational Awareness, etc.
Liaison with functional community’s subject matter experts, including Air Force Geographic Component Commands and other functional commands; HAFs, MAJCOMs, CNAFs; other services; interagency, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizational as well as any other organizations to ensure curriculum remains relevant and current.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have a Masters Degree from an accredited college or university.
Must have deployed as a Military Advisor, Political-Military (Pol-Mil) Affairs Strategists (PAS) Officer, Regional Affairs Strategists (RAS) Officer, Foreign Area Officer (FAO), Foreign Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) member, attaché or security assistance officer (SCO), or in a position equivalent to one of the above having military advisory experience.
Must meet minimum USAF EC Student and Qualified Instructor requirements IAW EC-established policy.
Must have completed Air Command and Staff College, Senior NCO Academy, or sister school equivalent, in-residence or by correspondence.
Must have Joint experience (not necessarily a “joint assignment”), interagency experience, experience working with coalition partners, or non-governmental organizations.
Must have experience or demonstrated knowledge in military, interagency, or civilian aviation industry.

Team Members on task (CONUS and OCONUS assignments, some travel):
• Specific vision abilities required by the job may include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Team Members deployed to a combat zone must be physically able to live in austere conditions during off duty time that may include extremes in temperature, noise, and must not have any medical conditions that require access to uninterrupted power sources.
• Team Members deployed to a combat zone will be subject to hazardous conditions which may require them to wear a kevlar helmet, individual body armor and/or wear a gas mask for extended periods of time.
