This is a proposal position (contingent upon contract award) located in Germany.

Summary:
This Position will support the Army Prepositioned Stocks (APS)-2 European Activity Set (EAS) is comprised of combined-arms, battalion-sized groups of vehicles and equipment pre-positioned in Europe designed to equip Army regionally-aligned forces when they rotate into theater for training, disaster relief, theater security or contingency operations. This pre-positioning of vehicles and equipment in theater enables the Army to save time, money and resources by only rotating personnel into theater. This successful strategy has enabled the Chief of Staff of the Army’s intent of having Continental United States (CONUS) forces train in a Multi-National environment. Additionally, the Defense Planning Guidance (DPG) directed the rotation of forces to Europe to reinvigorate the US participation in the NATO Response Force (NRF) and train US rotational forces in a multinational training environment at JMTC and Europe. The EAS program will be similar to existing APS operations and is approved to support exercises and theater engagement and equipment for Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Relief (HA/DR).

Essential Job Functions:
The Security Manager is directly responsible for all security measures, inspections, investigations and reporting by the security specialists for all assigned sites. The Security Manager is responsible for providing proper training of subordinates in order to meet requirements. The Security Manager must ensure all inspections, checks, reviews, and investigations of any security incidents are completed to standard and on time. The Security Manager is responsible for establishing inspection schedules, reviewing results and making recommendations to the APS-2 EAS Program Manager.
Education & Experience: (or equivalent)
Must have at least 15 years of experience in Army or DoD physical security directly related to an effort such as APS-2 EAS
US Citizenship Required
Knowledge & Skills:
Must possess the appropriate verbal and written communications skills to conduct meetings, execute plans, prepare reports, plans, and working instructions
Security Clearance: SECRET security clearance.
