Role Responsibility:

The successful candidate will report to the Global Risk and Operations Director. The purpose of the role is to ensure greater risk control and operational consistency. To implement, improve and ensure compliance with G4Si security and operational requirements across the Region.

The postholder will be responsible for managing and maintaining effective external relationships with customers, potential customers, G4S, Partners, Agents, Vendors, Airlines and internal relationships with G4Si.

The postholder will have responsibility for the Americas region. There will be a need to be flexible and extensive travel is required.

To develop effective relationships with the G4S Cash Services and subcontractor Security and Operations Managers, to develop greater cooperation, improved performance and greater risk control in the logistics and transportation of high value cargo such as Precious Metals, Banknotes & Jewellery.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES
To continually review security operations within the Region to implement, improve and ensure compliance with G4Si security requirements and procedures.
To continually review operational protocols within the Region to implement, improve and ensure compliance and consistency with G4Si operational requirements.
To develop formal and informal networks with Law Enforcement Authorities, the Airline and the Aviation sectors, to exchange security related intelligence and promote the image of G4S International within the security transportation industry.
To conduct security and operational surveys of all new security subcontractors, airports and airlines. To conduct periodic security and operational audits of current vendors and ensure company security standards and operational procedures are met.
To investigate any security incidents, losses or breach of company security regulations. Document each incident and make appropriate recommendations to minimise the risks to our insurance premium.
To investigate any operational failure or breach of standard operating procedure. Document each issue and make appropriate recommendations to minimise further service failure
To communicate and raise awareness of security incidents, attacks, losses and operational failures with all levels of staff across the Region, highlighting the impact on business profitability and performance.
To respond to security related questions from Managers and Operations Staff and recommend solutions and advice in line with company security standards and best practice.
To develop and implement standard operating procedures wherever necessary.
To conduct surveys of new lanes to include country risk assessments, operational delivery and monitor the security situation in existing operational areas.
To undertake any other duties as appropriate within their competence, as required by their superior.
