Job Summary:
Provide services in support of the US Marine Corps Special Operations Command (MARSOC)
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Assist the MARSOC commander and staff on Advanced Special Operations (ASO) and Military Source Operations (MSO) related issues and requirements.
Provide the foundation for all ASO/MSO programs within MARSOC.
Will be required to access Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI); Non-SCI intelligence information; Special Access Information (SAP); NATO information; foreign government information; and For Official Use Only (FOUO) information.
In addition you will also need to be able to access the JWICS and SIPRNET systems.
Assist the customer in the identification and support of ASO requirements to include planning, coordination, instruction and training.
Assist the customer in the application of current ASO doctrine to MARSOC mission sets.
Responsible for safeguarding all Government property and classified documents provided for use. At the close of each work period, shall secure Government equipment and classified materials entrusted to you, and act appropriately to preserve and prevent damage or loss to equipment and materials when necessary.
Travel to CONUS locations as required by the company and/or the customer.
Other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Must be a graduate of the USASOC Advanced Special Operations Training Course (Level III course) and provide a copy of graduation certificate
Must be well versed in ASO/MSO operations.
Must be familiar with the training and governing policies and procedures as they pertain to ASO/MSO programs within the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).
Applicant selected will be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to access classified information.
Must be cognizant of the most recent regulations and doctrine governing ASO.
Must maintain a high degree of physical fitness allowing you to competently handle the physical demands of this position, which include working in extreme environmental conditions such as inclement weather, traveling up to 6 miles a day in rough terrain and working non-standard hours.
Extensive Army, Navy, or MARSOC Special Operations Forces operational experience.
Minimum ten years of service in Army or Navy SOF units.
Previous active duty operational experience in support of OEF or OIF.
