Description
Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Trainer to plan, develop, and coordinate in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers. Obtains information needed to prepare in-house training programs; prepares training materials; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids. Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. May utilize trainers with technical expertise. Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.
This is an "On Call" contingent requisition. This position may be located in the United States or overseas.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
Possesses a minimum of five years of experience in training management related to military, physical and/or electronic security or similar systems. Possesses an Associate’s degree in a related discipline. An additional two years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Possesses knowledge of service-based programs and objectives, military services training program processes or training program processes in parallel business and industry organizations in order to develop comprehensive training programs, identify training requirements, upgrade personnel skill levels, and development programs.
Develop and deliver training that meets technical requirements and instruct DoD personnel in proper operation and maintenance of a system. Interpret technical information into practical language for training and instruction.
Tasks to be performed may include the following:
•Develop training plans
•Develop education and training materials and testing procedures
•Manage training programs
•Conduct training courses
•Evaluate training effectiveness and improve training as required
Must be able to maintain secret security clearance. Must have clearance at start of work.
