K-9 Trainer

Responsible for all training and ensures that all MWD teams’ proficiency is maintained. Supervises the care and feeding of dogs, coordinates training and duty schedules, ensures that administrative, accountability, and medical records are maintained, obtains all training support requirements, and supervises kennel facility maintenance. Responsible for storage and accountability of all training aids. Personnel must have successfully graduated from the DoD K-9 handler’s course and the DoD kennel master’s course IAW AFI 31-202, section 2.3. 

This position requires a SECRET security clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

6 years experience in the military in security or law enforcement Have successfully completed the Military Working Dog Trainer course at Lackland Air Force Base. High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications:
