Position Description:
The Chemical Training Instructor will serve as a certified Chemcial MOSQ (74 Series) instructor to provide augmentation to the MSCOE Chemical School for their training mission. As an instructor, provide performance-oriented training as directed; using a TRADOC approved Program of Instruction (POI) and in compliance with government defined instructor-to-student ratios. Training provided by Chemical School will be classroom training and/or hands-on-performance oriented training, simulation/virtual training and/or field exercise training or combat scenario driven live-fire training in a realistic but safe environment. The realistic combat training environment could be Chemical Defense Facility, Range Training, and Rifle Marksmanship Strategy for AIT courses, Convoy Live Fire Exercises (CLFX) Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT) related reflexive fire, and Modern Combatives Program training (MACP) or other TRADOC approved combat training situations.
Serve as a fully qualified Chemical SME and instructor; provide educationally and current doctrinally correct skills, knowledge, and abilities to ensure instructional success; review proponent provided doctrinal training materials and ensure their current technical and tactical accuracy; review/revise proponent supplied technical and tactical training materials as required to ensure technical accuracy and established training standards are met; knowledge of the TRADOC training process and Systems Approach to Training; review/validate all draft and final instructional modules; previous instructor experience at proponent school is recommended.
Position Requirements Required Education & Skills:
Associates degree
Minimum of 10-15 years in a Chemical MOSQ
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
