Foot Locker, Inc. is seeking an experienced Manager of Asset Protection with a background in accounting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Accounting
Accounting for all of Asset Protection including all journal entries, account reconciliations, and analytics.
Preparation of Asset Protection operating plans.
Prepare and forecast weekly and monthly financial reports including 562 and 610 reporting.
Develop capital budgets and monitor capital expenditures throughout the year.
SOX Compliance and record keeping.
Supervision
Supervise Asset Protection Analyst
Supervise all in-house security team members and coordinate staffing for special events.
Periodic site visits to in-house and external guard stores.
Overall Security
Identify and implement programs to minimize or eliminate loss of Company assets utilizing the best security strategy (guards, alarms, CCTV or combination) for each store.
Negotiate and manage the 3rd party security guard and alarm contracts.
Coordinate and closely manage temp guards.
Manage CCTV installs from vendor selection to completion of install and payment of invoices.
Manage, coordinate and control all store alarm system.
Control and accountability of New York Office (NYO) security ID badges (Foot Locker floors and building access).
Support Field Audit – budgets, defining shrink targets, monthly charge-outs, travel analysis
Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
Support BCP function for NY Office
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
4-5 years Accounting/Finance experience
Prior accounting and managerial experience required
Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word and Excel
Must be a leader and have excellent partnership skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational, analytical, detail oriented, and decision-making skills
