Deployment date is 7th May 2013
Role is Asset Protection Supervisor (APS) to work the day shift Day, B2B with the incumbent, for ongoing Rig Security Management in Kurdistan, very close to the Iraq border.

The preferred candidate will be responsible for Site Security and Safety during the Day shift reporting to the area Asset Protection Coordinator (APC), managing and maintaining the security operation with a subordinate Asset Protection Officer (APO) to assist with the supervision of the Oilfield Police Force who guard the site and locality.
Other points are:
Rotations are B2B Month On/Off.
Individual ‘sub-contracts’ are with the Minimal Risk Consultancy
Comprehensive insurance package.
Accommodation and subsistence is provided in country at all locations.
Business Class Flights
Ideal candidate will be:
Arabic speaker (desirable but not essential)
Proven experience in generating and maintaining effective relationships in a high tempo, demanding, people orientated environment.
Self reliant – capable of working without supervision on stand alone remote sites
Team Player, tolerant and patient with a sense of humour!
Good administrator/IT skills
Mature and sensible individual and experienced in ‘hands on’ O&G Operations
Must be self employed and organised
Used to working with a Local National O&G workforce and Armed Guard force.
Health and Safety qualified or at least some experience and understanding.
As it stands the role will be busy as a new Rig is being established with a new camp, facilities and civil works to include road building will become key features during the coming months. Within this contract, longer term; there is plenty of scope for advancement into senior appointments in Kurdistan and other regions.
Must be able to deploy around the 7th May to dovetail with the B2B

Qualifications
Experience in Security Management is essential.
Oil and Gas Experience
Military Service with Command Experience
Medics Qualification is desirable.
Good Admin and Communications Skills.
