Security Operations Center Project Manager

As the Project Manager,OperationsCenter, you will provide managerial and administrative oversight to a dynamic team responsible for maintaining a state-of-the-art information fusion center, in support of financial sector incident management. Your key performance objective is to ensure the delivery of timely, sensitive, and accurate communication products and business solutions during incidents, emergencies, and critical operational time periods.

You will work closely with the Operations Center manager to ensure staffing levels are met and provide direction in accordance with client expectations. In addition, you will be charged with developing the skills sets and decision making of all Operations Center personnel and ensuring compliance with all G4S requirements.

Role Responsibility:
Provide leadership to the Operations Center team to provide excellent service to client
Provide supervision and oversight to ensure habitual compliance with established protocols
Develop and supervise work schedules to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained
Develop training material and provide ongoing and new hire training to Operations Center personnel to ensure understanding of procedures and established protocols
Routinely and actively contribute to the professional development of all Operations Center personnel
Provide stability within the Operations Center team to ensure continuity of effort
Demonstrate innovative, critical and analytical thinking skills that result in the expansion of performance levels, service delivery and organizational capabilities
Conduct regular assessments of all Operations Center personnel to determine strengths/weaknesses and develop a plan to enhance performance levels through coaching and mentoring
Ensure Quality Assurance Checks are completed per Director, Strategic Accounts and advise Director of planned drills and training exercises
Recruit and Select personnel to fill position vacancies
Manage schedules and distribute work hours, assignments, tasks and special projects based on client requirements and reduce overtime where possible

The Ideal Candidate:
Education, Licenses and Certifications Required
Four-year college degree in Emergency Response/Crisis Management field (or related field) is required with a Masters or Advanced degree highly desired
Certifications showing specializations are highly desired (examples: CBCP, CPP, CEM, PMP)
Type and Length of Specific Experience Required
A minimum of five years experience in the crisis management, emergency response, emergency communications area (or related fields)
A minimum of two years experience in a supervisory role to include training, coaching and development as well as project management

Proven experience having:
Independently manage direct reports in a high paced environment
Manage across multiple shifts
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
Provide leadership and personnel development to staff
Work effectively and efficiently while achieving measurable results
Use web technologies in gathering data for awareness in communications
Knowledge of Incident Management principles, proficiency in ICS methodology and Business Continuity process
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Excel, or comparable content management system

Must be 21 years of age or the minimum required by the state

Must be able to pass an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
