Responsibilities
Corporate Security Service’s (CSS) focus is to identify and take action to reduce security risks affecting our customers and staff while providing a safe and secure environment in which to operate.
The Security Operations (Command Center) Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the day to day operations of the computer based proprietary central station alarm monitoring system.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Managing the day to day operation of the computer based proprietary central station alarm monitoring system.
Directing and controlling the operation of the alarm monitoring function through operational procedures and ensuring the highest level of customer service.
Managing controls, advising or making decisions to allow or restrict access to retail locations, ATM’s and buildings within all of CFG regions.
Coordinating with Corporate Security Management and other departs to reduce the number of false alarms.
Supervising and controlling fingerprinting of CFG employees.
Supervising the issue of Photo ID’s to CFG Employees.
Maintaining video surveillance system (remote video monitoring) and auxiliary alarm systems at select CFG locations.
Supervising and performing daily health checks of the video surveillance equipment.
Fielding fraud related calls to assist the Fraud department with after business hours calls.
Supervising and control the confidential Security Helpline (Employee Alert Line)
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
5 or more years experience in Security Operations Center with 4 or more years supervisory experience
Advanced experience with physical security equipment as utilized in a banking institution setting.
Experience making effective decisions during emergency situations
Skills and Knowledge:
Detailed knowledge of Physical Security Infrastructure
Complete knowledge of DVR and security panel programming
Strong organizational and supervisory skills
Strong working knowledge of latest alarm monitoring software and equipment
Proficiency with PC applications including word processing and spreadsheets
Ability to support others through development and coaching
This candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience interacting with all levels of an organization, including senior management.
Proven ability to work independently as well as cooperatively in a team
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Preferred Educations and Experience
Bachelors Degree in related discipline
Experience completing comprehensive security reports
Hours and Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
