Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Provide platform and field instruction in both Combat Profiling and Combat Tracking in support of the U.S. Marine Corps Combat Hunter Program in accordance with the Combat Hunter Intermediate Course and the Combat Hunter Trainer Course POIs.
- Perform instructor duties in Combat Profiling at US Marine Corps’ School of Infantry, Enhanced Combat Hunter Leaders Course, and other career progression training programs.
- Develop and refine the Combat Hunter curricula, media and doctrine based upon research and analysis of current and emerging TTPs as they relate to the Comabt Hunter Program
- Conduct assessments of individual Marines and units’ training to allow feedback of existing POI and recommend potential improvements where necessary.
- Possess the ability to guide discussions, incorporate role-play, present case studies, identify and use resources and remediate students if necessary.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must have attended US Army, Marine Corps or other recognized professional military tracking school or courses.
- Must have knowledge of Marine Corps values and ethos, leadership traits and principles, training programs and training development process, Marine Corps Systems Approach Training (SAT) and the culture of leadership with the Marine Corps.
- Must have the ability to write and layout documents, references and source materials into a written manner able to be understood by junior to senior Marines.
- Must have excellent written and communication skills.
- Must be familiar with Marine Corps training and education environment.
- Must be familiar with and adhere to established command and staff procedures, especially chain of command.
- Proficient in computer applications such as Windows and MS Office
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Required to sit for extended periods of time and maintain focus
- Daily travel in local area during work day (including use of personal vehicle)
- Ability to obtain or have a security clearance
- Requires 0% – 15% travel
- Anticipated start date: 1 September 2015
