Job Description:
The work requires knowledge of weapons mechanical systems, the ability to recognize and determine the best method to correct malfunctions, and the skill to fit and adjust mechanical parts and assemblies. Individuals require previous work‐related skill, knowledge and experience servicing and repairing and inspecting small arms, including automatic
pistols, rifles, machine guns and related sighting equipment. Formal training and certification of completion of military small arms repair or equivalent civilian gunsmith training is required. Documented experience with modern US military weapons is required. All individuals in this occupation are required to meet the security requirements of Army Regulation 190‐11 and maintain security of weapons in a military small arms vault. Personnel assigned custody, maintenance, disposal, or security responsibilities for AA&E will be subject to the following investigations and periodic reinvestigations as set forth in DOD 5200.2–R: National agency check, local agency check, credit check. A minimum of 3 years of experience performing weapons repair and previous exposure to arms room procedures are required. XOtech, LLC is committed to a drug free workplace.
