Responsibilities:
The Physical Security Project Manager will oversee physical security projects. The individual will provide managerial and technical support for security projects related to construction, installation, maintenance and/or renovation. The individual must be able to take direction well and work independently.Duties shall include, but are not limited to the following:
Financial planning for physical security system installation, repair, and construction projects; including developing budgets, processing budget requests, developing spend plans, and analyzing project financials
Tracking and evaluating projects using project dashboards and web-based

Collaboration with multi-level stakeholders to define problem areas, explore possible solutions and recommend courses of action for complex projects

Evaluation, planning, and creation of specifications and statements of work for the design, installation, repair, and maintenance of physical security systems and components
Conducting on-site facility inspections to determine physical security system
requirements and document condition of existing systems
Educate team and guide team members on innovative physical security
Physical security industry leader and subject matter expert
Research all aspects of science and technology relevant to USMS physical security to include theories, concepts, products, tools, methods, systems, etc…
Educate team members on science and technology solutions
Assist/Advise senior leaders on all aspects of security
Liaison with senior leaders
Review briefings and report findings to senior leaders
Prepare white paper and standard operating procedures.
