Job Summary:
The Small Arms Repair is responsible for providing value to our
customer by ensuring the integrity of all customer orders in the most
efficient manner. This is accomplished by ensuring that the department
is properly prepared to support and meet the business priorities
established by our customer.
Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Perform overhaul, maintenance and repair of a number of complete small arms units such as recoilless rifles, very fast firing multi-barrel machine guns, heavy machine guns and grenade launchers.
2. Disassemble guns, examine critical parts for wear or damage using micrometers and precision gages, obtain needed replacement parts and reassemble weapon.
3. Modify weapons by replacing old parts with new parts of modified design or make changes such as reaming out a hole or smoothing off rivet heads.
4. Performs other duties as required.
