Role Responsibility:
- Act as a strategic partner communicating directly with different levels of client management including executive levels, directors and other levels
- Take a 24x7x365 and 180 degree view of security operations serving our client nationally or per identified region; ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met; quality assurance and contract compliance
- Employ effective strategic leadership skills managing a large scale guard force service and operations ensuring that such services are customer focused, reliable, stable and always either achieves or surpasses obligated service levels
- Contribute to continuous process improvement and efficiencies through best practices; implement such to improve services and cost to our client
- Manage at a Strategic level services including, but not limited to, alarm monitoring, access control, incident detection and mitigation, communication and awareness, delivery functions, theft and property and deterrence functions
- Advise and mentor other G4S personnel serving client under existing work orders
- Achieve financial goals by establishing objectives, developing and monitoring budgets, controlling and reducing costs, and optimizing use of assets
- Personnel management; provide supervision to managers within the Secure Solutions Region (i.e., oversee customer relations, ensure required reports and analytics are provided to client and G4S management)
- Oversee project management; implement standard security operations at each client facility, and ensure compliance through quarterly visits
- Performance / budget compliance; responsible for the oversight of Key Performance Indicators designed to meet contractual expectations to include; tracking cost savings initiatives
- Ensure proper debriefing of contract requirements to servicing field office and regional representatives; interpret rules and regulations; present ideas; organize and plan projects or events; formulate questions and generate answers to issues
- Participate in training of field managers in business development; train and supervise others using easy-to-understand concepts and hands on experience; instill self-confidence and self-esteem in others
- Organize support for short-notice job starts, emergency service and compliance
- Interpret and administer programs and procedures for the organization in accordance with approved company policies
Education, Licenses and Certifications Required
- Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Criminal Justice, or a related field
Type and Length of Specific Experience Required
- Must possess a minimum of ten (10) years of management experience a large multifaceted business with knowledge of IT, Executive Protection, Physical Security, Investigations or Special Events
- Must possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a responsible global security management role within the security or criminal justice field
- Must possess a minimum of five (5) years managing a Security Operations Center, Security Communications Center, security/alarm monitoring center or other closely related operation
- Must have experience developing strategic plans for physical and technical security services
- Work history must include demonstration of:
- Proficiency in communication and writing skills consistent with public speaking and construction on complex written reports
- Ability to use sound business practices to further the goals and objectives of the organization
- Ability to organize and manage the process required to maintain compliance for licensing and training functions
- Basic understanding of other software including ability to use electronic ticketing
- Resiliency and sound judgment in dealing with business and corporate challenges
- Effectively communicate complex organizational and human resource issues
- Proven track record of managing and developing projects and employees
