Security Senior Manager – (SS13622)
Job Description:
This position will develop and manage security functions for designated area(s) of responsibility involving domestic and/or multiple countries with regard to the Global Security Departments Protection of Assets Program. Analyze and manage all functional related activities within the scope of security operational requirements. This position is accountable to assist in ensuring organizational resilience and delivery of security
services. Supervise directly, or in matrix environment, assigned security support staff across multiple geographical regions and facilities.
Job Responsibilities
Develops, implements and manages regional strategic planning and coordination of the security function aligned with the organizations overall business objectives
Plans and directs operations in the smallest geographical region(s) security function under senior management direction
Provides regional security leadership to the sites and establishes and proactively manages the region’s site security plans
Directs the approach, deployment and execution of investigations, and directs team based systems development efforts
Works collaboratively with international staff in identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining security processes across the organization to reduce risks, respond to incidents, and limit exposure to liability in order to reduce financial loss to the organization
Develops, coordinates and implements site security, operations and activities to ensure protection of executives, managers, employees, physical assets, intellectual properties and information assets, while ensuring optimal use of personnel and equipment
Develops and implements policies, processes, procedures, standards, training and methods for identifying and protecting intellectual property assets, personnel, property, facilities, operations, or material from unauthorized disclosure, misuse, theft, assault, vandalism, product tampering, espionage, sabotage, or loss
Develops and manages business critical projects and programs with significant financial and/or legal impact on a regional level
Develops a consensus position within an organizational climate of diverse operational activities and often-conflicting regulations imposed by agencies and certain countries with regulatory jurisdiction
Develops and documents standards for measuring efficiency and effectiveness of site security plans and other security operations
Plans, develops and implements processes to obtain, maintain, secure, analyze, account for, and provide information from assessment reports
Manages complex security improvement programs across business units, service organizations and regional geographies
Develops regional security business plans and maintains close relationships with high-level law enforcement, intelligence and private sector counterparts
Briefs senior and executive leadership on status of security issues
Perform full range of managerial responsibilities which may include but not be limited to: interviewing, hiring, coaching and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; EEO/AA; performance management, department budget

The proven ability to operate effectively at a senior level while also possessing a hands-on nature to carry out detailed actions and high quality work
Knowledge of risk-threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, enterprise security monitoring, executive protection principles and concepts, facility access control systems, emergency response planning and investigative practices and protocols
In-depth technical knowledge of security standards, programs, techniques, and state-of-the art equipment
A high degree of integrity, ethics, responsibility, and dedication – in addition to the ability to calmly facilitate the appropriate resolution to difficult emotional and crisis situations
Able to provide evidence of a high capacity for proactive and strategic thinking together with a substantial track record demonstrating initiative, self-motivation, organizational leadership and results-oriented attitude to influence outcomes
Demonstrated experience of achieving positive outcomes through effective and focused incident management
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or related field or combination of substantial experience and education
Experience Requirements
Previous supervisory experience is essential
Consulting and/or project management experience
Requires a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in security related position with at least three (3) years in a management and leadership position
