Job Summary: 
BOLC Ammo ( 890A) Instructor will Instruct students attending the Basic Officer Leader Course at the Army Logistics University located at Fort Lee Va. Instruct application and fundamentals of ammunition and force structure, employ conventional ammunition site selection, analyze ammunition requisition management (shipping and receiving), examine explosive safety and quantity distance, and applied physical security in ammunition operations. Primary work location is
Fort Lee VA. Some instruction may be conducted at other government and civilian facilities located within 50 miles of Ft Lee. Teach students in a classroom environment as well as a field setting. Responsible for maintaining programs of instruction current IAW established TRADOC procedures.  Support field training exercises conducted at Ft Lee and surrounding military installations as required.
 
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
Must be physically fit and able to perform duties regarding moderate lifting (not to exceed 45 lbs), long periods of standing, sitting or walking, and endure inclement weather conditions on occasion
 
Minimum Job Requirements:
Preferred a minimum of 1 years experience in teaching, development or reviewing course material, training aids, and manuals for military training programs. Must have, at a minimum, 4 years of prior military service as an  Warrant Officer 890A in the last ten years and been honorably separated from Service;  deployment experience (operational or combat) within the last 7 years. Must complete, or test out of, the ABIC and Small Group Course Instructor Training Courses.  Must meet training, technical and tactical certification of course content, and document experience level requirements of the course they are contracted to deliver. Must be knowledgeable of all applicable regulations & doctrines regarding military officer training.  Instructors must be able to work with minimum guidance.  Must be able to obtain a CAC card.
