CR1533: Security Guard
Job Responsibilities
Security Guard to provide unarmed site security support for ECC compound and robotics equipment at our Fort Bragg project site within a controlled restricted area. Majority of work will be outdoors. Guards will need to dress accordingly. ECC will provide hard hats, safety glasses, flashlights and vests for the guards as needed. Appropriate footwear should be worn (our construction site requires composite-toed boots; waterproof
recommended).Guards will be required to provide site security against trespassers and unauthorized personnel after normal working hours and on weekends. This will entail coordination with Base Force Protection and local first responders. Detail requires significant periods of time on your feet.
Some general labor support may be required to move construction debris, shovel snow, or otherwise lift materials at the discretion of the ECC project team.
UXO experience, CPR/First Aid, and safety training helpful but not required. A State or other locality issued unarmed security card is recommended.
Work schedule will vary based on construction activities, but in general will be between the hours of 5 pm and 7 am Friday through Monday. Weekend work may also be needed Prefer local candidates, but willing to consider candidates needing moblization. Anticipate work to start June 5, 2015 and last until December 21, 2015.
Basic Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED equivalent
Must be willing and able to work hours that included nights and weekends.
Requires current driver’s license, cleaning driving record and your own transportation
Preferred Qualifications
Previous military, police, or private security experience
A State or other locality issued unarmed security card is recommended.
UXO experience, CPR/First Aid, and safety training helpful but not required
